A total of 4077 patients diagnosed with a-DC between 2004 and 2020 were included in this study based on the SEER database screening flowchart. The external validation cohort comprised 173 patients who underwent radical pancreaticoduodenectomy for a-DC at Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital between 2010 and 2020. In the training cohort, there were 2298 men and 1779 women, with an average age of 65.9 years.

Abstract Background: Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) is one of the most aggressive malignancies with a very poor prognosis. Exploring more therapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers is of great significance to improve the prognosis of PAAD patients. Increasing evidence supports that the speckled protein (SP) 100 family is associated with human cancer and immune disorders. However, the function of the SP100 family members in PAAD is still unclear.
