WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The United Steelworkers have approved a new contract with Alcoa, just days before the current agreement was set to expire. Local 104 represents hundreds of workers at Alcoa’s Warrick County operation. According to a social media post, the four-year deal includes at least four percent pay increase every year. For the first time in 325 years, the shift and schedule premium pay went from 30 cents to 50 cents per hour.
