What was your first job as a journalist?
It was an educational beat story. I attended an event where the Osun State government awarded some best students in secondary school.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. It was my grandfather's own.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I don’t think I have one, but I often imagine how an amazing journalist Sherlock Holmes would have been.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means you must be smart enough to sniff news-worthy ideas while presenting nothing but the truth to your audience. The power to make or break the world lies in the hands of a journalist. Hence, journalists must be cautious even while being smart, lest they demolish the world with fake news.

Why did you become a journalist?
My love for writing placed me on the path of journalism. I am excited by the fact that journalists are the fourth estate of the realm, and our stories can make or mar the society. I look forward to reporting and correcting the ills of society through my stories.

I love being pitched during the day. Let's say from 9 upwards.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Pitches about issues that I do not cover and those where the story has no benefit on the Nigerians, who are my primary audience.
