Author Correction: Cleavage of roquin and regnase-1 by the paracaspase MALT1 releases their cooperatively repressed targets to promote TH17 differentiation | Nature Immunology
Correction to: Nature Immunology https://doi.org/10.1038/ni.3008, published online 5 October 2014. In the version of this article initially published, due to a copy / paste error during figure preparation, in Fig. 7f, the WT plot was an inadvertent duplicate of the adjacent R510G,R579G plot. Due to the age of the article, the figure cannot be updated directly. The corrected Fig. 7f is available as Supplementary Information accompanying this amendment. This notice serves to correct the article.
Activated ATF6α is a hepatic tumour driver restricting immunosurveillance - Nature
|
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fastest growing cause of cancer-related mortality and there are limited therapies1. Although endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and the unfolded protein response (UPR) are implicated in HCC, the involvement of the UPR transducer ATF6α remains unclear2.

Kupffer Cell-Derived Tnf Triggers Cholangiocellular Tumorigenesis through JNK due to Chronic Mitochondrial Dysfunction and ROS
|
Main text (Cancer Cell 31, 771–789; June 12, 2017) We, the authors of this publication, investigated how Kupffer cell-derived tumor necrosis factor (TNF), in the context of mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress, promotes cholangiocellular proliferation and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma development.

A Lymphotoxin-Driven Pathway to Hepatocellular Carcinoma
|
Main text (Cancer Cell 16, 295–308; October 6, 2009) We, the authors of this publication, described the role of lymphotoxin signaling in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. We have become aware of several errors involving duplicated images in the figures. Specifically, in Figure 7E (group tg1223 Tnfr1−/−), three consecutive liver sections stained for H&E, B220, and CD3 were duplicated in Figure S7B (group tg1223IKKβF/F).

Mapping the Molecular Landscape of Thyroid Neoplasms: A Comprehensive Proteomic and Phosphoproteomic Analysis Across Tumors of Follicular Origin
Abstract Thyroid nodules are a widespread phenomenon, with follicular cell-derived thyroid tumors being the most prevalent type of endocrine tumor, spanning from benign through low grade malignant to aggressive neoplasms with dismal prognosis. In clinical practice, histopathological criteria are primarily used to determine malignancy and aggressiveness. Therefore, accurate classification may result in surgical procedures for diagnostic reasons, associated with an imbalanced risk/benefit ratio.
Polyphenols—Ensured Accessibility from Food to the Human Metabolism by Chemical and Biotechnological Treatments
Abstract : Polyphenols are plant-based compounds famous for their positive impact on both human health and the quality of food products. The benefits of polyphenols are related to reducing cardiovascular diseases, cholesterol management, cancers, and neurological disorders in humans and increasing the shelf life, management of oxidation, and anti-microbial activity in food products.
Transplantation of a human liver following 3 days of ex situ normothermic preservation - Nature Biotechnology
Abstract Current organ preservation methods provide a narrow window (usually <12 hours) to assess, transport and implant donor grafts for human transplantation. Here we report the transplantation of a human liver discarded by all centers, which could be preserved for several days using ex situ normothermic machine perfusion. The transplanted liver exhibited normal function, with minimal reperfusion injury and the need for only a minimal immunosuppressive regimen.

An integrated perfusion machine preserves injured human livers for 1 week
Abstract The ability to preserve metabolically active livers ex vivo for 1 week or more could allow repair of poor-quality livers that would otherwise be declined for transplantation. Current approaches for normothermic perfusion can preserve human livers for only 24 h. Here we report a liver perfusion machine that integrates multiple core physiological functions, including automated management of glucose levels and oxygenation, waste-product removal and hematocrit control.
