The National Junior College Athletics Association released their year-end list of baseball All-Americans on Wednesday, and dotted top to bottom throughout the list are players who have passed through Suplizio Field. Former Fruita Monument Wildcat Keenan Oxford was named a first-team All-American after a standout sophomore season at Lamar Community College in eastern Colorado.

CMU's Wagstaff wins Colorado West Amateur

For the third consecutive year, the winner of the Colorado West Amateur hails from Colorado Mesa University. Junior golfer Luke Wagstaff, a native of McKinney, Texas, lit up Bookcliff Country Club over the weekend to the tune of a three-day score of 195 to win the largest amateur golf tournament in western Colorado. Wagstaff shot an opening-round 7-under-par 64, followed up the outing with another 64, and rounded out the tournament with a 67 to cruise to a 12-shot victory in the tournament.
