The Florida real estate company that bought the JC Penney store building at the Acadiana Mall in 2019 has put it up for sale. Out of the Box Ventures has put the 122,512-square foot mall anchor space and adjacent parking up for sale and is asking for $1.4 million, according to the listing posted by Elifin Realty.

AOC names former LCG deputy as its next executive director

AOC Community Media has named Jamie Angelle as its executive director. Angelle, who was deputy chief of staff under former Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory, will lead the 45-year-old organization that serves as Lafayette’s public access media. Its board selected Angelle for his experience in journalism, government and civic engagement, president John Pastor said. Angelle has worked with TV stations KADN and KATC along with KPEL radio.
