An emergency order signed by D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser gives the Metropolitan Police Department the authority to impose curfews for teenagers. Bowser issued the order Friday amid an ongoing battle involving the mayor, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and the D.C. Council. The council passed a law allowing juvenile curfew zones but it doesn’t take effect until this fall. The mayor has continued to issue temporary emergency orders. Her latest order will be in effect from Friday until Saturday, June 6.

After a year of aggressive multifamily buying in Montreal, co-founder Jacob Iftah said the Toronto-based company is preparing to enter at least one additional major Canadian market outside Toronto and Vancouver, with first deals expected to be announced in the coming months.
