Patna: More than 1,188 women secured employment on the opening day of a two-day women’s mega job fair organised by the Women and Child Development Corporation under the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar. The event, which began on March 16 at Gyan Bhawan, brought together around 50 national and multinational companies offering job opportunities across a wide range of sectors.

Patna: Bihar government is preparing to launch a network of “Tarkari” outlets across the state to provide vegetable farmers with better access to markets. The initiative, introduced by the state’s cooperation department, is being developed on the lines of the successful dairy cooperative model run by COMFED, which operates the Sudha Dairy brand.

Patna: An Iftar gathering was organised at the Bihar state office of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in Patna on Monday, bringing together leaders from several political parties during the holy month of Ramadan. The programme was held under the leadership of Minority Cell president Salim Sahil and attended by the party’s national president and Union minister Chirag Paswan.
