Soccer fans across Toronto and around the globe are getting ready for the FIFA World Cup which begins this week. For the first time ever, Canada will be hosting a number of World Cup matches, including Canada’s first game this Friday afternoon against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Toronto. Members of the Beach Metro Community News team, which plays in the Beach Community Soccer League, are among players, parents, fans and local businesses across East Toronto who are excited about the World Cup.
