Today’s Forecast: Warm temperatures will greet many of us as we start out the day in the 60s, a sign of things to come this afternoon. That's right! More heat can be expected this afternoon across Southern Colorado. Highs will warm into the 80s and 90s on the Plains, with 70s in Teller County and our mountain valleys. Weather wise, it will be a mixed bag of weather today, with high fire danger and Red Flag Warnings for Pueblo, Fremont and Huerfano counties today.

Today’s Forecast: Compared to yesterday, temperatures this morning are going to be much warmer, especially along the I-25 corridor and across the Pikes Peak Region. A sign of foreshadowing perhaps as our well advertised heat wave becomes even more of a reality this afternoon. Highs today will soar into the 80s and 90s on the Plains, with 70s and 80s into our mountain valleys.

Today’s Forecast: Temperatures have been, dare I say, chilly this morning. We're waking up the 40s in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. The chill won't last long as today will mark the start of a hot stretch of days for Southern Colorado. Afternoon highs today will be around 6-10 degrees warmer than yesterday, with highs topping out in the 80s and 90s on the Plains. Slow-moving storms will be possible today as well, mainly near the higher terrain.
