The NY-10 congressional hopeful advocated against the boycott that passed Tuesday, but declined to explain the difference between this movement and others he'd supported The Park Slope Food Co-op, a liberal members-only grocery store in the heart of Brownstone Brooklyn, voted Tuesday evening to boycott Israeli-made goods and remove about 10 items from its shelves by a 67% to 31% vote out of a total 6,772 votes.

SU non-tenured faculty, postdoctoral researchers vote in favor of union

Syracuse University’s non-tenured faculty and postdoctoral researchers voted Thursday in favor of unionizing following a two-day, campus-wide election. The in-person results were 148 in favor (74%) and 53 against (26%), forming a union on behalf of 350 eligible faculty members. “It’s really exciting knowing that the turnout was as positive as it was because you never know,” said Ryan Tabrizi, a union organizing committee member and communication and rhetorical studies assistant teaching professor.
