I'm a breaking news anchor and reporter at WKRN News 2 in Nashville, Tennessee. I strive to locate breaking news and present it on-air and bring that content straight to our viewers on social media. I also report on an array of special projects and enterprise stories.

Prior to this, I was a morning show anchor and reporter at WCIA 3 News in Champaign, IL. I created the content all content for the 9AM/12PM hours. The morning show is the top morning newscast in that market.

Ahead of the Baha Men's Summerfest performance, CBS 58 Morning News Anchor Alex Corradetti asked band member Dyson Knight whether he had ever heard of Wisconsin's famous Kringle. The answer was no. CBS 58 then told Knight what a Kringle is and to definitely try one with the rest of the crew while they were here.Ā Knight then said he would have to try one before leaving Milwaukee. So, we made it happen.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A powerful new play written by a Racine playwright is about to make its world premiere. The Good One, written by Amy Hanson and directed by Diane Carlson, opens July 24 as the first production of Over Our Head Players' 35th season. The original drama centers on Natalie Morgan, who arrives at a hospital after her sister, Piper, is placed on life support following an overdose.

What was your first job as a journalist?

After graduating from Illinois State University, my first job as a journalist was being a Woman's Show Host at WCIA 3 News in Champaign, IL.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I used to type out news stories on a typewriter as a kid, I guess that was early practice.

How is social media changing news?

Social media is news. Without it, we would not get alerted to things as quickly as we do.
