INDIANAPOLIS – For Deidre Goosby, the introduction to breastfeeding started in her own family. “My sister breastfed all three of her kids. So, I kind of got exposed to it through her,” she said. She breastfed her daughter for 13 months. Though the feeding journey has since ended for them, Goosby said it’s one that did not come easy. “Each month kind of gave different challenges,” Goosby said.

Midwest economy getting major boost from Chip plant investments

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (NEXSTAR) – SK Hynix is set to build its chip manufacturing plant inside the Purdue Research Park. Set to begin operations in 2028, the $4 billion plant is expected to bring in 7,000 direct and indirect jobs to the area. Chad Pittman, president and CEO of the Purdue Research Foundation, says the plant will be an advanced packaging facility for the company’s high-bandwidth memory chip.
