YORK, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alertfrom midnight to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, for freeze conditions and widespread frost. There’s currently a FREEZE WATCH for Cumberland, Franklin, Dauphin, Adams, Lebanon, York and Lancaster counties during this timeframe. Recent warmth has allowed for an earlier start to the growing season, putting temperature-sensitive plants at risk earlier than usual.

YORK, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Impact team has called a Weather Impact Alert from 2 P.M. to 9 P.M. Wednesday for the risk of some strong to severe thunderstorms. The risk is low overall, but make sure you have numerous ways to receive alerts Wednesday afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center has all of south-central Pa. under a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather. The highest risk for severe storms is west of the Alleghenies.

Weather Impact Alert through Saturday for lingering travel issues and bitterly cold arctic air

YORK, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Team continues Weather Impact Alert through Saturday as frigid temperatures bring more cold weather concerns through the rest of this week. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 P.M. this evening through 10 A.M. Thursday. It's a similar story for the rest of the week in regard to the cold, with temperatures back in the single digits for many and wind chills between -5 and -15 for most of the morning. Expect similar conditions through at least Saturday morning.
