Bank Rakyat has launched the Bank Rakyat World Mastercard Credit Card-i, a Shariah-compliant premium credit card designed for travel and retail spending. The card will be available from June 2026. The card is built around three core benefits. Cardholders earn 5% cashback on hotel bookings, airline ticket purchases, and dining, capped at RM1,500 per annum. All overseas transactions are also processed with 0% foreign exchange markup, eliminating currency conversion fees entirely.

Ryt Bank Brings PayLater To The Ryt Card, Expanding Beyond DuitNow QR

Ryt Bank has expanded its Ryt PayLater feature to work directly on the Ryt Card, allowing customers to choose between paying now or later across a wider range of transactions. The update extends Ryt PayLater beyond DuitNow QR to card payments on Visa’s network, covering in-store terminals, online purchases, and QR payments in a single feature. Previously, Ryt PayLater was limited to DuitNow QR transactions.

AmBank Enables Apple Pay For Visa Debit Cards On PayNet's MyDebit Network

AmBank has enabled Apple Pay for its Visa Debit cardholders on PayNet’s MyDebit network. The bank says it is the first in Malaysia to route Apple Pay debit transactions through the country’s domestic payment infrastructure. The rollout extends Apple Pay access to MyDebit users for in-store, in-app, and online purchases.
