Full $9.8M Payout, How Much Did Ryan Fox Win?
Ryan Fox earned his second PGA Tour win of the season at the RBC Canadian Open after he outlasted Sam Burns in a four-hole playoff. Fox made a gutsy birdie on his 72nd hole to force a playoff and sign for a 4-under 66 to get to 18-under and to play extra holes. Burns fired off an impressive 8-under 62 to jump up 15 spots and sit at 18-overall. He posted the number, and Fox responded. At the RBC Canadian Open, they continue to play the 18th hole for the playoff.
In the ARP: Crisis of Conscience, Not Constitution
We remain firmly Presbyterian in polity, with the highest court being the General Synod. What seems to be at the center of this confusion is a short phrase in the new FOG “in order to:” That phrase indicates that the synod has the authority to do those things (organize, receive, divide, dissolve, etc.). And that it consults with presbyteries regarding the presbytery’s business/actions – not to get their approval of synod’s actions.

Abstract Strategies to separately manufacture arterial-scale tissue engineered vascular grafts and microvascular networks have been well-established, but efforts to bridge these two length scales to create hierarchical vasculature capable of supporting parenchymal cell functions or restoring perfusion to ischemic tissues have been limited.

GOLF Brandon Gdula — @gdula13 Oct 18th, 2022 Congaree Golf Club is once again hosting a PGA Tour event, though this time it's not the Palmetto Championship but rather THE CJ CUP in South Carolina. Speaking of that field, it's substantially better than what we saw in 2021.

A Reconfigurable Fabric for Accelerating Large-Scale Datacenter Services
Datacenter workloads demand high computational capabilities, flexibility, power efficiency, and low cost. It is challenging to improve all of these factors simultaneously. To advance datacenter capabilities beyond what commodity server designs can provide, we designed and built a composable, reconfigurable hardware fabric based on field programmable gate arrays (FPGA).
Dynamic Vectorization in the E2 Dynamic Multicore System
Previous research has shown that Explicit Data Graph Execution (EDGE) instruction set architectures (ISA) allow for power efficient performance scaling. In this paper we describe the preliminary design of a new dynamic multicore processor called E2 that utilizes an EDGE ISA to allow for the dynamic composition of physical cores into logical processors. We provide details of E2’s support for dynamic reconfigurability and show how the EDGE ISA facilities out-of-order vector execution.
