Put the brooms away, New York Knicks fans. Victor Wembanyama has finally decided to live in the paint. After the San Antonio Spurs' 115-111 victory at Madison Square Garden in Game 3, a New York championship suddenly feels far from certain. In the first two games of this series, Wemby shot 40.5 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from three. He attempted 15 total triples. Of his 42 total shots, 22 came from outside the paint.

The New York Knicks are up 2-0 as the NBA Finals shift to Madison Square Garden for Game 3. They're just the third team in NBA history to open a Finals by winning two games on the road, and the list of reasons for their success in San Antonio is long. At the top: the play of Victor Wembanyama. Or, more specifically, how the Knicks have affected the play of the San Antonio Spurs star and possible future face of the league.

Jalen Brunson: B- 9 of 10 Brunson had a spectacular fourth quarter in Game 1. In just under eight minutes, he scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting and led the Knicks to the double-digit win. But that burst came after an uneven start (and then some), and he finished an eek-worthy 12-of-31 from the field, while totaling twice as many turnovers (four) as assists (two). Then, in Game 2, he went 7-of-25 from the field and was tied with Mitchell Robinson for the worst plus-minus on the team at minus-10.
