Getting Started with TDD: A Practical Guide to Beginning a Lasting Practice

Numerous books and articles praise it, and many mentors and managers encourage it, or even require it. Nevertheless, new-comers to TDD often experience an unfortunate sequence of events: Developer begins researching TDD. Developer finds a plethora of materials evangelizing TDD as fantastic, a great way to produce quality code.

Cisco advances renewable energy strategy with new power purchase agreement in Europe
The energy sector is responsible for approximately 75 percent of global carbon emissions, according to some estimates. Despite great advancements in energy efficiency and impressive growth in the renewable energy sector, global emissions continue to rise year after year as our appetite for energy grows, something that is not projected to slow down. With this in mind, it is clear that to make meaningful progress in addressing climate change, we need to focus on decarbonizing the energy sector.

As we say goodbye to one year, you inevitably start to think about the year ahead and what’s to come.

The appeal was heard at Endeavour House on Thursday morning, with both sides outlining their case. Babergh argued that their decision to deny permission to exceed the 13 numbered in a previous decision made by the Secretary of State in 1995 was the correct one.

A babe as King and Savior
Wednesday 08 December 2021 / 12:58 pm December 7, 2021 by Andy Smith 0 There is an old illustration concerning three blind men and an elephant. Each are tasked with trying to describe their perception of what an elephant is. One, an elephant is like a wall, the second a tree, and third a large rope. Each is limited to their momentary perception and understanding. Each was truthful, and yet failing to fully grasp the idea and reality of what an elephant is.

'Taxing domestic flying alone will increase, not reduce, the UK’s transport emissions'
Of the 127 domestic air routes in the UK, only 7 of them (6%) can be replaced by an electric train. Of these services, the railway from London to Scotland is already near capacity and can’t come close to matching the peak seat capacity provided by airlines. It doesn’t take much imagination to forecast what happens if we continue to tax (or ban as many call for) domestic flying indiscriminately. We will generate millions of additional car miles and emit more CO₂ than the status quo.

Located in one of the windiest corridors in Texas, the wind farm will deliver over 1.6 million megawatt-hours of clean, renewable electricity every year to the local electric grid.
The Soldiers Psalm
Monday 15 June 2020 / 5:37 pm June 15, 2020 by Andy Smith 0 Psalm 91 begins with these words: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” The Psalm continues to list the things that one who trusts in God does not need to fear: disease — actually disease is mentioned twice — fears during the night, attacks during the day, destruction and calamity.

Biggie - Ready to Die 25 Years
How ridiculous is it to think that twenty five years ago today, a young and excited Christopher Wallace was ecstatic at having his debut album released – little to his knowledge to become one of the most influential projects his beloved genre of hip-hop had seen. Even more ridiculous – and totally unheard of, on his debut album the prevailing sentiment was letting the world know how he was Ready To Die.

Why StrategiQ Has Hired a Professional Psychologist
For a long time, stress and anxiety were alien concepts to me. I found it hard to process the idea that somebody couldn’t cope with their job, especially as I had no issue managing the pressure – both personal and professional – that comes with launching your own company. If anything, I thrive on it. Recently, however, more people in my life, both inside and outside of work, have started to struggle with day-to-day life and are fundamentally finding it hard to cope.

Remembering the Soldiers of WW1
November 11th 1918 marks the end of the First World War or the 1914-18 war, known at the time as the ‘War to end all Wars.’ Regrettably that did not prove to be the case and conflict continues today. While we at MS&T appreciate and support our armed forces and their role in securing the peace as well as in combat, we also need to remind ourselves of the cost when those in power get it wrong.

With that kind of data, we show you how to capture the best engagement through optimal video length, and what platform will work best for your content type. This data was just a WOW moment for us.
Moderate Instagram Video Comments for Your Brand's Sake
I have always asserted that moderation on social media is unnecessary and often hurtful for creators and brands. YouTube has actually done a pretty good job of sending relevant comments to the top of the list and keeping them front and center.
