Andy Dehnart’s writing on television, culture, and media has appeared on NPR and in Playboy, The Daily Beast, and other publications.
Andy serves as vice president of the Television Critics Association, and also publishes and writes reality blurred, which has, since 2000, offered his impassioned analysis and original reporting on television’s newest genre. It “revels in the post-ironic pleasures of reality television,” as The New York Times said.
Andy has an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing and literature from Bennington College. Following a wide range of work experiences in new media and journalism, he taught writing and journalism at Stetson University in Florida for 20 years, including directing the journalism program. He comments regularly about popular culture on the radio and in the press.
