Reversible fluorenol photobases that perform CO2 capture and concentration from ambient air - Nature Chemistry
Abstract Leading strategies for the capture of CO2 from point sources and directly from the atmosphere face high energy costs for thermal sorbent regeneration. Photochemical processes, driven by sunlight as the sole external stimulus, offer a promising alternative. Despite many reported examples of light-induced pH swings using metastable photoacids, the complementary mode of operation, using photoswitchable bases, has not been extensively considered.

Engagement with advance care planning can be improved by incorporating relational autonomy, such as identifying family dynamics and adapting involvement based on family decision-making hierarchies and relationships. The complexity of the decision-making process in long-term care facilities suggests that advance care planning is an iterative and fluid process, which needs to be revisited in lockstep with changes in residents' physical and mental health status.

Quantification of uncertainty in a new network model of pulmonary arterial adventitial fibroblast pro-fibrotic signalling
1. Introduction Cell signalling networks are cascades of biochemical reactions that regulate cellular responses to external cues, and their dysregulation is important in the progression of disease.
