The Pendulum Swings Again — A former player's case for finding the right balance A note before we begin: College sports do not exist in a political vacuum, and neither does this executive order. I am aware of the current climate. But this piece is not about politics. It is about policy, and specifically about whether this order actually serves the student-athletes it claims to protect. I will leave the partisan debate to others.
