Asha began writing for NEO magazine in 2004, leading to writing for other magazines and nascent websites including the Official magazines, SFX, Imagine FX, Newtype USA, EDGE and The Guardian.

They have also written for websites like Kotaku, Eurogamer, the Radio Times, AOL.com (WoW Insider and Massively) and TenTonHammer.com.

They currently write for various websites and magazines.

They began adapting/localising manga in 2017 and have over a hundred volumes to their name.

They graduated in 2024 with an MA degree in Interdisciplinary Japan Studies from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK, which allowed them to write an actual fifteen-thousand-word dissertation on Shinkai Makoto's recent filmography.

In their spare time, Asha loves listening to audiobooks, participating in virtual and real-world photography, planning trips to Japan, gaming, and writing science fiction and fantasy.
