The drama of the Ogun State governorship election has been put to bed, as the supreme court has ruled in Dapo Abiodun’s favour. The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed Dapo Abiodun as duly elected governor of Ogun State in the March 2023 governorship elections. Justice Tijjani Abubakar who delivered the judgment dismissed the appeals against Abiodun. The appeal was filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate in the March 18, governorship election, Ladi Adebutu.
