A journalist communicates what they see, what they understand, and as much context as the word count allows.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google docs for writing, google meet for online interviews, google recorder for audio and transcription.
Why did you become a journalist?
As I suspect was the case for many folks during the Great Recession, I was short of rent and a friend of mine offered me a freelance gig.
