JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Department of Justice has charged a man who allegedly fired a gun in an attempt to murder a Deputy U.S. Marshal and five officers. Christopher Eric Fisher, 41, of Rockwood, was charged in the 14-count indictment by a federal grand jury, U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti announced Thursday morning. According to the indictment, on April 16, Fisher opened fire and attempted to murder the deputy and five officers who were performing their official duties.
