Advances and mechanisms in the application and treatment of functionalized stem cells and their derivatives in allergic rhinitis
Abstract Allergic rhinitis (AR) is characterized by Th2/Th17/Treg immune imbalance and nasal mucosal barrier damage, and current treatments struggle to restore immune homeostasis. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and their exosomes can exert anti-inflammatory and barrier-repairing effects through paracrine pathways, but natural MSCs have poor targeting and short local retention, limiting their efficacy.
Haplotype-resolved chromosomal-level genome assembly of Mastigias papua
Abstract Mastigias papua is a representative species of the Scyphozoa class. Its outer umbrella surface is covered with white spots and it is mainly distributed in the Pacific and Indian Ocean. In this study, we generated a haplotype-resolved, chromosome-scale genome assembly for M. papua using PacBio HiFi long reads and Hi-C technology.
Engineering Tandem Catalysis for Amino Acid Synthesis From Nitrogen Oxides
1 Introduction Amino acids are the fundamental building blocks of all living organisms [1-3]. They are indispensable for sustaining life processes and have broad applications in biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, and fine chemicals [4, 5]. Industrially, amino acids are primarily produced through three main approaches: protein hydrolysis [6, 7], chemical synthesis [8], and microbial fermentation [9].

Neonatal inflammation disrupts a temporally restricted postnatal Numb -enriched microglial state in mice
Abstract Early-life microglia are diverse and support brain development beyond immune surveillance, but the transient states associated with postnatal maturation remain poorly understood. Here we show, using a time-resolved single-cell atlas of neonatal mouse brain immune cells, that a postnatal Numb-enriched microglial state emerges during early postnatal development, expands during the second postnatal week and subsequently declines.

Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Lithium (Li) metal batteries (LMBs) promise higher energy density than Li-ion cells but face a trade-off between ionic conductivity and mechanical strength in gel polymer electrolytes (GPEs).
Efficacy of stem cell therapy for achilles tendon rupture: a systematic review and meta-analysis based on animal studies
Abstract Background: Although stem cell–based therapies show promise for promoting Achilles tendon regeneration, the current preclinical evidence is highly heterogeneous, and their overall efficacy and key modifying factors remain unclear. Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Scopus for studies based on rat models of Achilles tendon rupture. Two investigators independently performed study selection, data extraction, and risk-of-bias assessment.
Nitrogen metabolism profiling reveals cell state-specific pyrimidine synthesis pathway choice
|
Abstract Stable isotope-tracing assays track few metabolites, yet cells use many nutrients to sustain nitrogen metabolism. Here we create a platform for tracing 30 nitrogen isotope-labelled metabolites in parallel to enable a system-level understanding of cellular nitrogen metabolism. This platform reveals that while primitive cells engage both de novo and salvage pyrimidine synthesis pathways, differentiated cells nearly exclusively salvage uridine.

Visualization and Depth Estimation of Inner Crack in High‐Pressure Equipment Based on Organic Mechanochromic Luminescent Materials
Abstract Invisible hydrogen-induced cracking or stress corrosion cracking easily appears in high-pressure equipment in service. Mechanoresponsive luminogens (MRLs) can convert mechanical force into visible luminescence emission. Thus, MRL-based detection methods to damage of structures have been paid extensive attention in recent years. However, the structural damage-induced luminescence response and mechanism are still not fully comprehended.

Blind Matching Filtering Algorithm for Spectrum Sensing under Multi-Path Channel Environment
Abstract : Matching filtering has been proven to be the optimal spectrum sensing algorithm under Gaussian white noise. However, the application of this algorithm is limited because of its dependence on prior information. In this paper, we propose a spectrum sensing algorithm based on blind matching filtering (BMF) by using the correlation between adjacent received signals under dispersive channels.
