Ocean City man killed in Worcester County crash

WHALEYVILLE, Md. – An Ocean City man was killed following a fatal crash in Worcester County Tuesday night. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., troopers responded to the area of westbound US Route 50 near Maryland Route 610 in Worcester County. An investigation revealed that a Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a Ford F-150 that was traveling west on US Route 50. The driver of the Altima, 79-year-old Gregory Roth, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Smyrna man arrested for murder, child abuse

SMYRNA, Del. – A Smyrna man has been arrested for the murder of his 10-year-old daughter and the continuous child abuse of two additional children. Delaware State Police arrested 49-year-old Badara Kone on charges of murder by abuse or neglect in the second degree, and other child abuse charges. Last Thursday, troopers responded to a residence on Oakwynn Circle in Smyrna where Badara’s daughter, Fatima Kone, was found dead in her bedroom.

Man arrested for allegedly kidnapping girlfriend

SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department arrested a 25-year-old for allegedly kidnapping his girlfriend. Last Saturday, officers responded to the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Hall Street for a female passenger yelling for help in a vehicle being driven recklessly. As officers were on their way, additional calls came in about a hit and run collision and a female being dragged back toward a vehicle.
