Perceived faith-oriented public-space environments, activity participation, and social connectedness among older adults in Quanzhou Ancient City
Abstract Older adults’ perceptions of urban public spaces are associated with their outdoor activities and social interactions, whereas locally embedded folk culture is associated with distinctive patterns of spatial engagement. In the context of historic city renewal, understanding how culturally embedded environments are associated with social connectedness among older adults is essential.

Authors' Reply “Imaging and Pathology Concordance in Head and Neck Cancer: Retrospective Analysis”
Dear Editor, We read with great appreciation the insightful comments by Ms. Xiaoxia Yin (Yin 2026) regarding our recently published study (Lin et al. 2025). Her methodological reflections provide an excellent opportunity to clarify the clinical and statistical considerations underpinning our work. First, Ms. Yin emphasizes the lack of independent blinded image review and standardized interpretation criteria (Yin 2026).

Improving immune function and mitochondrial health in patients undergoing hemodialysis: benefits of combining high-flux dialysis with hemoperfusion
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of combining hemoperfusion (HP) with high-flux hemodialysis (HFD) on T lymphocyte subsets, mitochondrial health, and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). Methods: In this single-center, prospective, self-controlled trial, 20 MHD patients received their regular HFD treatment, with the addition of a single HP session every 2 weeks for 12 sessions.
Advanced magnetic resonance neurography for preoperative facial nerve assessment and surgical planning in parotid tumors: a review of current evidence and surgical translation
Abstract Conventional parotid surgery has historically relied on indirect anatomical landmarks, which often fail when faced with pathological distortions. This narrative review evaluates the clinical utility of advanced magnetic resonance neurography and 3D modeling for preoperative facial nerve assessment, aiming to bridge the gap between radiological advancements and practical surgical planning.
Adoption of Deep Generative Models in Architectural and Urban-Form Generation
ABSTRACT Integrating deep generative models (DGMs) into architectural and urban-form generation is an innovative approach to support the design process. However, whether these applications are what designers need is rarely considered. To capture the user acceptance and visions of applying DGMs to architectural and urban-form generation, survey research was conducted. Drawing on the technology acceptance model (TAM), this study examines factors affecting user acceptance.

A lysosomal fluorescent probe for imaging of viscosity in tumoral ferroptosis and rheumatoid arthritis mice models
A lysosomal fluorescent probe for imaging of viscosity in tumoral ferroptosis and rheumatoid arthritis mice models Viscosity as an important micro-environment parameter, is closely related to the occurrence and progression of various diseases. Herein, we have developed a novel fluorescent probe (BIB) for lysosomal viscosity detection. Interestingly, using BIB, in vivo imaging of viscosity fluctuations in tumoral ferroptosis and rheumatoid arthritis models has been successfully achieved.
Inhibition of virally induced TFEB proteasomal degradation as a host-centric therapeutic approach for coronaviral infection
Abstract The endolysosomal pathway plays an evolutionarily conserved role in pathogen clearance, and viruses have evolved complex mechanisms to evade this host defense system. Here, we describe a previously unidentified aspect of coronaviral infection, whereby the master transcriptional activator of lysosomal homeostasis—TFEB—is targeted for proteasomal-mediated degradation upon viral infection.

Black Ultrathin Single‐Crystalline Flakes of CuVP2S6 and CuCrP2S6 for Near‐Infrared‐Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution
The development of new near-infrared-responsive photocatalysts is a fascinating and challenging approach to acquire high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution (PHE) performance. Herein, near-infrared-responsive black CuVP2S6 and CuCrP2S6 flakes as well as CuInP2S6 flakes are designed and constructed for PHE. Atom-resolved HAADF-STEM and X-ray absorption fine structure evidence the formation of ultrathin single-crystalline sheet-like structure of CuVP2S6 and CuCrP2S6.

Crystals | Free Full-Text | Numerical/Experimental Study of Process Optimization Conducted on an Al-Cu Alloy Produced by Combined Fields of Applied Pressure and Ultrasonic Vibration
2.2. Geometric Model Setting 2.2.1. Geometric Model This study focuses on investigating the cavitation effects in the Al-5.0Cu alloy melt. It also aims to explore the differences in the internal flow of the melt under ultrasonic-pressure coupling. Due to the short period of cavitation bubble growth–collapse, the phase transition process of melt during nucleation and the growth stages were ignored. thus preventing excessive momentum and heat source term generation.

Mining on Students’ Execution Logs and Repairing Compilation Errors Based on Deep Learning
2. Related Work Gupta et al. [10] first proposed using the sequence-to-sequence neural network model DeepFix to automatically fix syntax errors in programs, achieving an end-to-end automated repair tool. This method focuses on four common types of simple syntax errors and introduces mutations to programs, which are represented as sequences of line numbers and corresponding statements.
Recent Advances in Wearable Sensors for the Monitoring of Sweat: A Comprehensive Tendency Summary
1. Introduction In the last few years, there has been an increasing focus on personal health and disease prevention. Monitoring human physiological signals is a crucial approach to achieving this goal. Abstract : In the present work, the effects of different die-casting process parameters on the mechanical properties and microstructure of A380 aluminum alloy casting with different wall thicknesses during the solidification process have been experimentally investigated. The experimental results show that both boost pressure and injection speed have a significant effect on the mechanical properties of the casting.
Cell-free DNA methylation biomarker for the diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma
Summary Background Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) is being explored as biomarker for non-invasive diagnosis of cancer. We aimed to establish a cfDNA-based DNA methylation marker panel to differentially diagnose papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) from benign thyroid nodule (BTN). Methods 220 PTC- and 188 BTN patients were enrolled. Methylation markers of PTC were identified from patients’ tissue and plasma by reduced representation bisulfite sequencing and methylation haplotype analyses.
