How is social media changing news?
It spreads stories and encourages conversation more than any time in history. Unfortunately, in some cases, it legitimizes untruths. Scary.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
You might not want to pitch me, I don't have that much influence.
Why did you become a journalist?
I was asked to write opinion pieces for a local newspaper after losing an election for School Board. Kinda fell into it.
