Comparative Cost-Effectiveness of Fixed and Mobile Primary Eye Health Services

The results of this study indicate that the mobile primary eye health strategies are substantially more cost-effective at case finding. Mobile strategies can identify individuals with URE or cataracts and incentivize them to treatment at a cost of between $8–$22 per case, while fixed facilities require 3-10× as much to achieve the same outcome. The superior case finding effectiveness of mobile screening strategies is attributable to improved capacity utilization.

Social media, as we know, broadens engagement and enables people to reach new audiences. The monthly, weekly and daily cycles are different.
