What was your first job as a journalist?

My current job. I'm a Digital Content Producer.

How is social media changing news?

Social media accelerates news and challenges the current conversations invoking a quick response while holding people accountable.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Journalists are know it alls in the best way. We become experts in many fields to accurately provide information to our followers.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I like the in-person pitch. It allows me to respond in real-time and create a more genuine conversation.

What's your favorite social network?

I like Facebook, especially as a news tool. It is important to provide factual information to the sources people are going to.

When's the best time to pitch you?

I am open to hearing pitches throughout the day. I am wiser in the afternoon after my day has started.
