A woman was beaten to death with bricks in an alley in North Philadelphia in the morning hours of Sunday, June 7, police said Tuesday. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, 45-year-old Keisha Furlow was found with severe lacerations on her face just after 6 a.m. in "the rear alley of N. Opal Street." She was pronounced dead at 6:14 a.m. Also at the scene, officers found two bloodied bricks, which are believed to have been used in the attack, near Furlow's body, police said.
