Brennan LaBrie is a Brooklyn-based journalist reporting on community-centered stories across New York City. His work can be found in local outlets like W42ST, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and Brooklyn Paper.
His journalism career started in elementary school, when he published a handwritten weekly paper covering local news for three years, and reported on events like the 2010 Winter Olympics for TIME For Kids. He returned to the field in college, reporting for his school paper, interning at local papers, and directing three feature documentaries, one of which received a 2021 College Emmy.
After moving to New York City in 2022 and getting his footing as a fine-dining server, Brennan began filing stories for community papers, focusing on housing, local businesses and nonprofits, education, and human-interest stories.
