I'm an investigative reporter at LNP | LancasterOnline focused on disinformation, domestic violent extremism and threats to democracy. My work connects fringe figures, dark money groups, political funders and elected officials. In April 2023 LNP became part of the NPR member station WITF in Harrisburg. Sunday morning, a massive Liberty Bell banner still hung over the stage near the Philadelphia Art Museum, where hours earlier Meek Mill, Will Smith, and backing band the Roots were the last to perform. Gone were the fireworks and revelers, but the white tents, chain-link fencing, and long rows of porta-potties were reminders of a concert that lasted until 2:45 a.m. It wasn’t supposed to go that long.
