The meal includes an appetizer, unlimited soup and breadsticks, an entrée, and a dessert. All of this was only $14.99! The Crispy Risotto Bites started the meal off with a bang. After an appetizer like that, my expectations for the entrée were high. I was not disappointed.
Data privacy laws in the US protect profit but prevent sharing data for public good
In 2021, an investigation revealed that home loan algorithms systematically discriminate against qualified minority applicants. Unfortunately, stories of dubious profit-driven data uses like this are all too common. Meanwhile, laws often impede nonprofits and public health agencies from using similar data — like credit and financial data — to alleviate inequities or improve people’s well-being. Legal data limitations have even been a factor in the fight against the coronavirus.

Even Over Time, The Latest Film In The 'Up Series' Still Fascinates
British filmmaker Michael Apted’s movies range from big Hollywood biopics to small political documentaries. He was an assistant on that film, called Seven Up and he ran with it. Every seven years Apted has filmed those same people in movies called 14 Up, 21 Up, and so on until now those former 7-year-olds are 63 years old – and Michael Apted is 78. If you want to think of the Up Series as sociology, it’s an extraordinary longitudinal study of a semi-diverse group of people in the United Kingdom.

A recent interactive illustration came off the rails at the end of a message about the prodigals Jesus talked about in his parable about a loving, waiting father. Spoiler alert: Both the younger and the older brother in the story fit the description of a prodigal. One was literally distant from the father. He was the obvious prodigal.
