This is a helpful way to remember which is which, but is it necessary to know which is Type I and Type II? Isn't it more important not make either error?
@DavidWSanders2 @Caroline_Bartma Maybe the original question should be reframed - What is the optimal way for a large number of people to share their findings at a meeting? Is it posters or something different? Is the goal to spark a conversation among attendees or to absorb information (or both)?
@DavidWSanders2 @Caroline_Bartma But, if it is about a new approach and people will want more technical details, then you need to include those. So, similar to writing a paper, think about your audience and what you want them to focus on.
@DavidWSanders2 @Caroline_Bartma I prefer this as well. I don't like being "walked through". I want to be able to digest it in a few minutes and then ask some questions. I suppose that preferences might vary depending on audience or type of work being presented. As an editor, I like staying conceptual.
@laurpelletier @MolecularCell Thanks! I'll still share this with our web team. It may be still be something that our site is generating.
