SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Drone incursions and intrusions on wildfires have continued to trend in a dangerous direction. 2025 was perhaps the most eye-opening year for drone-related data on wildfires, according to the U.S. Forest Service. “In 2025, there were 218 drone sightings over active wildfires,” the agency wrote in a recent news release.
