What was your first job as a journalist?

I count my apprenticeship at KABC-TV as my first job in journalism. It was my first real taste of reporting from the field.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

It was an electronic typewriter, with a monochrome screen. Type your document, hit "print" and it types everything out, one letter at a time.
