War Department Signs $9.7B Technology Deal With Dell for Microsoft Services

The War Department announced today a five-year agreement to purchase Microsoft Services — a move expected to save the department $422 million annually. "The Department of War is taking a definitive step forward to advance our digital infrastructure to deter near-peer adversaries by awarding a five-year, $9.7 billion Core Enterprise Technology Agreement to Dell Federal Systems," said Kirsten A. Davies, DOW chief information officer.

Hegseth tells West Point cadets they are ready to lead

WEST POINT, N.Y. — At the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, Saturday, May 23, some 998 cadets threw their caps in the air, prepared to disperse out into the Army to lead Soldiers in every corner of the world. Before that happened, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told those newly minted leaders that they've got his trust and the trust of the president.
