I'm an award-winning journalist reporting for The Christian Science Monitor, where I primarily cover Greater Boston. I've written about everything from immigration to environmental policy to politics, and I'm always looking for the next story.

I graduated from Williams College in 2023. There, I served as managing editor, and before that, arts editor, for The Williams Record. I was one of ProPublica's Emerging Reporter Fellows in 2022, and am a member of NABJ and NLGJA.

On a Tuesday in early June, the international terminal at Boston’s Logan Airport is a sea of blue Cape Verde soccer jerseys. Dozens of people have gathered here in hopes of catching a glimpse of the country’s national team arriving in the United States for the World Cup. As travelers pushing large carts of luggage maneuver around them, the fans huddle for selfies, wave flags, and livestream their joy with selfie sticks. For Cape Verde fans, this is a historic moment.
