Hot Summer Nites made its return to downtown Sioux Falls on Wednesday night, with over 400 Corvettes in total gathering at a ramp near 8th and Railroad. The event also featured live music, food trucks, and a special opportunity from their partnership with Remedy Brewing.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The annual “Lend an Arm” blood drive takes place Friday, May 22, at Scheels on 41st Street and Western Avenue in Sioux Falls. The event is purposely held just before Memorial Day weekend, as the need for blood is especially strong this time of year. Ken Versteeg, executive director of Community Blood Bank, explains more blood supply is needed before the three-day weekend.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Dakota Bank Center’s lease will expire on December 31, 2026, and on Wednesday, the City of Brookings turned to the public to help decide its future. The Dacotah Bank Center was first introduced to the city in 2001 as the Brookings Area Multiplex. After 25 years of events, ranging from concerts to sporting events, the city is considering changes to the venue.
