In 2024, Meg Molloy, a communications consultant based in the UK, founded the Working Arts Club: an organization devoted to art workers in London who hail from working-class backgrounds and who in many cases have encountered barriers to access in the art world. The group, which organizes panels and networking events, has since grown to over 1,000 members. Now, it will expand to other cities; the club’s Northern England branch will launch on 24 March.
