SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A few thunderstorms pushed through parts of Northwest Iowa in the wee hours of Sunday morning with frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. No severe weather was reported. Our next chance of rowdier storms arrives Tuesday night. Mostly sunny and hot on Sunday. An isolated storm or two is possible. Severe weather is not expected. Highs near 90 degrees. Winds: E 5-10 mph. Sunday's Forecast Clear, muggy, and still. A stray storm can’t completely be ruled out, but it’s also not likely.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Saturday started out cool and quiet with morning lows in the 40s and 50s. As temperatures warm up into the afternoon, rain and storms will move in from the west. Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy with increasing shower and storm chances into the evening, mainly west of I-29. The Storm Prediction Center has Western Siouxland in a Marginal Risk of severe weather (1/5).

Future Track 2pm Sunday Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. The best chance of rainfall will be east of I-29. Severe weather is not expected. Highs near 80 degrees. Winds: S 10-20 mph. Sunday's Forecast Any thunderstorms will end early, then mostly cloudy with fog possible.
