@LauraMLippman Agree. Love Sendak but preferred Knight's drawings. Also felt like a different series on the farm. Now parents just leave their kids??

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Oh, hell yes. I typed everything all through high school -- I knew how to use computers but, weirdly, we never had one at home.

How is social media changing news?

Among other things, it forces us to disseminate information more quickly, and to have deeper, more active conversations with our readers.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Les Nessman. Those bow ties were just so snappy.
