Been staring at the evening news and poring through newspapers since 5th Grade. Always aced the weekly current events tests. Knew the names of every cabinet secretary -- of course. Majored in Journalism and PoliSci at UNM, also activism. Lost vision in right eye (thrown rock) covering an anti-VietNam march for the university newspaper, 2 days after Kent State. Wrote for the Albuquerque Journal and NM Independent, moved,, LA Weekly, now two weekly columns in the Santa Monica Daily Press. CURIOUS…
