CRISPR/Cas9-Mediated OsHMA3 Promoter Editing Reduces Rice Grain Cd Accumulation Without Yield Penalty
Agricultural soil cadmium (Cd) contamination is a global environmental issue, threatening crop production and human health (Suhani et al. 2021; Hu et al. 2016). The daily diet with Cd-contaminated rice can cause Itai-itai disease, renal dysfunction and cancers (Horiguchi et al. 1994). Rice, the staple food for over half of the world's population, is highly susceptible to accumulating Cd in its grains (Muthayya et al. 2014). Therefore, it is of great importance to breed low-Cd rice varieties.
Multi-omic analysis of jaw-bone periosteum identifies the role of macrophage-derived SPP1 in Ctsk + Fmod + periosteal cells
Abstract Periosteal cells (PCs) play a crucial role in bone regeneration. Currently, the spatial landscapes of jaw-bone periosteum during bone grafting remains unclear. In this study, we propose a modified guided bone regeneration (GBR) model and integrate single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and spatial transcriptomics (ST) to dissect its spatial characteristics. We identify a functional subset of Ctsk+Fmod+ PCs within the jaw-bone periosteum of rat and human.

Defect passivation and optical management of triple-junction solar cells
|
Abstract Perovskite/perovskite/silicon-based triple-junction solar cells are a promising low-cost route to surpass the Shockley–Queisser efficiency limit of single-junction photovoltaics, but their performance is constrained by non-radiative losses in wide-bandgap perovskites and sub-optimal light management across the multilayer stack1-3. Here, we introduce a passivating molecule, 4F-POEABr, which strongly suppresses surface-defect-mediated recombination of WBG perovskite films.

Exploring Relational Dynamics Affecting Developmental Outcomes Among Rural Chinese Children
1 Introduction Despite sustained pledge and commitment to equitable development among diverse child groups at the national and international levels, a significant divide persists between urban and rural children in educational and psychological outcomes, particularly among the less-developed and upper-middle income countries (Lagakos 2020).
Intermetallic charge redistribution restructures the oxygen-bound intermediate network for efficient ethylene electrosynthesis
Abstract The precise regulation of Cu surface electronic structure governs C-C coupling pathways and intermediate adsorption to enhance ethylene selectivity. However, how heteroatom dopants modulate the flux of oxygen-bound intermediates remains unclear. Herein, we establish a predictive framework based on six dopant elements’ electron orbital characteristics, demonstrating that p-orbital metal doping enables favorable orbital-center proximity for hybridization with Cu active centers.

Dynamic Stability in Intermittent Seawater Electrolysis Via Frustrated Lewis Pair Engineering
1 Introduction Renewable energy-driven green hydrogen production through large-scale seawater electrolysis has emerged as a global research priority for energy transition.[1-5] This approach not only circumvents freshwater scarcity concerns but also enables direct integration with offshore renewable energy infrastructure.[6] However, the practical implementation of seawater electrolysis faces formidable technical barriers stemming from the complex ionic composition of seawater (e.g., Cl−,...

Here, we performed a two-sample MR analysis to assess the causal impact of 731 immune cell types on DLBCL.
A Sustainable Dynamic Capacity Estimation Method Based on Bike-Sharing E-Fences
1. Introduction As urban traffic congestion and environmental pollution escalate, bike sharing is increasingly embraced for its low-carbon and convenient attributes [,,]. This popularity can be attributed to the various socioeconomic and environmental benefits associated with bike sharing, such as decreased CO2 emissions, reduced disease rates, and diminished traffic congestion and noise pollution [].

2. Related Work Over the past decades, localization methods by fusing multi-model sensors have become popular research. Autonomous driving system (ADS) vehicles equipped with multi-modal sensors (such as cameras, GNSS, LiDAR) provide multi-source sensor data to perceive the surrounding traffic environment and obtain vehicle position, speed, and attitude information []. We mainly review related work on vision-based methods and IMU correction approaches.
