Best Picture Nominee and Better than the Original? on Apple Podcasts
Really this is just an excuse to revisit the beach volleyball scene again. Peter Veunnasack and Michael Denniston have over a hundred episodes of watching essentially the same movie over again on ORIGINAL REMAKE. But when it's Tom Cruise... they don't complain. Too much. They are just glad that the critical community has embraced repeating one's self (a podcaster's bread and butter) in acknowledging TOP GUN: MAVERICK as the savior of cinema and one of the ten best pictures of 2022.
Just blew up my new Martin Logan BF210 sub
Ouch. I had to look up the price of it. That's painful. It's difficult to tell, but it does sound like a fried voice coil. Repair should be an option. FWIW, there are less expensive options that can outperform it. They will probably be larger, though.
My Third Act—Feathers - 3rd Act Magazine
Eleven years ago, when I was 55, I made a career switch. Instead of spending my days negotiating over the operation of the dams in the Northwest, I began to professionally create art. What is important to me?” Age gives us a perspective on what we value and how we really want to spend our time.

I Hand-Carve Feathers Into Intricate Art (50 New Pics)
I carve birds' feathers into intricate art in order to make their natural beauty more noticeable. The work highlights the patterns and colors of the feathers themselves, inviting the viewer to look and look again. For me, feathers represent flight, transformation, and a bridge between our present lives and our dreams. I display my work in shadow boxes, a signature art form I developed after years of research. I use eye surgery scissors, forceps, and scalpels to carve the feathers.

Congressman Buchanan, don't let Congress take our internet | Bradenton Herald
Congressman Vern Buchanan: You have spent much of your career fighting for issues that are important to the Manatee and Sarasota area, which is why I am surprised to see your stance on repealing net neutrality. For those who don’t know, net neutrality is the concept that consumers and businesses should be able to reach the online applications and services of their choosing without interference from their broadband provider.
