WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Public Safety Committee voted in favor of submitting a proposal to the city council to implement a citywide youth curfew following a series of recent disturbances involving large crowds of teenagers in downtown Winston-Salem. On Monday afternoon, officials with the Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD) shared details of their recommended curfew, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., for individuals who are 17 or younger.
