(Photo by Gerald Early) My parents are buried at Beverly National Cemetery, a short drive from Philadelphia. My father, Henry Early Jr., is buried there because he served in the United States Army during World War II. He died in January 1953 at the age of 32 from a brain aneurysm, untimely, to be sure. He was not a particularly good soldier.
