East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Good morning, East Texas! You’ll want to grab the umbrella before heading out for the day as scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible at times today. This morning, we’re waking up to partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the muggy 70s. Expect a fair mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with highs ranging in the lower to middle 90s.

East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Happy Independence Day, East Texas! After a hot and muggy afternoon, expect a very slow cooldown for our temperatures this evening with many still in the lower 80s by 10 PM. A stray shower or thundershower could persist into the later evening hours, but any rain still in the area will be quick to fade away as we lose our daytime heating after the sun sets. Our Sunday will start off on a mild and muggy note in the 70s with partly cloudy skies.
